The Metropolitan Council met in regular session on this date at 7:00 p.m. in the Metropolitan Courthouse.

The invocation was offered by Councilmember Ron Nollner.

The Metropolitan Council gave the pledge of allegiance to the American Flag.

A resolution approving the renewal of a grant contract by and between State of Tennessee, Department of Health and the Metropolitan Government by and through the Board of Health for health and sanitary inspection services for hotels, food service establishments, swimming pools and bed and breakfast establishments. The resolution was approved by the Health, Hospitals and Social Services Committee and by the Budget and Finance Committee with an amendment. A resolution requesting the Mayor to seek requests for proposals from qualified operators to consider operation, maintenance, and management of the Department of Water and Sewerage Services.
