ORDINANCE NO. O98-1282
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE, FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE METROPOLITAN BOARD OF EDUCATION (TAX MAP 51-2, PARCEL 7 - 1112 CHADWELL DRIVE).
WHEREAS, the owner of Parcel 7 on Tax Map 51-2 desires to donate this .59 acres, more of less, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, for the benefit of the Metropolitan Board of Education; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Property and the Metropolitan Board of Education have approved the acceptance of said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1.
The Director of Public Property is hereby authorized to accept title, from the owner of the aforementioned properties (Tax Map 51-2, Parcel 7 - 1112 Chadwell Drive) and shown on the map identified as Exhibit "A" and attached hereto and made part of this ordinance.SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
