Metropolitan Council Meeting

The Metropolitan Council met in adjourned session on this date at 7:00 p.m. in the Metropolitan Courthouse.
The invocation was offered by Rev. Ernie Standerfer of Valley View Baptist Church.
The Metropolitan Council gave the pledge of allegiance to the American Flag.

Arts
Commission
Appointment of Dr. Carolynn Reid-Wallace to the Arts Commission for a term expiring
January 1, 2004. The Rules-Confirmations-Public Elections Committee recommended
the appointment, and Ms. Williams moved for confirmation, which motion was seconded
and adopted by a unanimous vote of the Council.
Fire
and Building Code Appeals Board
Appointment of Ms. Latrisha Stewart to the Fire and Building Code Appeals Board
for a term expiring March 1, 2006. In the absence of the appointee, the appointment
was deferred.
Metropolitan
Planning Commission
Appointment of Ms. Gwen Hopkins to the Metropolitan Planning Commission for
a term expiring March 31, 2006. In the absence of the appointee, the appointment
was deferred.
Reappointment of Mr. Doug Small to the Metropolitan Planning Commission for a term expiring March 31, 2006. The Rules-Confirmations-Public Elections Committee recommended the appointment, and Ms. Williams moved for confirmation, which motion was seconded and adopted by a unanimous vote of the Council.

of Plumbing Examiners and Appeals
Appointment of Mr. Mike Trigg to the Board of Plumbing Examiners and Appeals
for a term expiring March 10, 2006. In the absence of the appointee, the appointment
was deferred.
Public
Library Board
Reappointment of Ms. Virginia Lodge to the Public Library Board for a term expiring
April 6, 2009. The Rules-Confirmations-Public Elections Committee recommended
the appointment, and Ms. Williams moved for confirmation, which motion was seconded
and adopted by a unanimous vote of the Council.

approved by the Planning Commission. Mr. Knoch requested a hearing from the
