ORDINANCE NO. BL2002-1013
An ordinance amending Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code, Zoning Regulations, by amending Table 17.12.030A (Street Setbacks for Single-Family and Two-Family Dwellings), all of which is more particularly described herein (Proposal No. 2002Z-011T).
WHEREAS, the current Table 17.12.030A does not provide street setbacks for all districts in which single- and two-family dwellings are permitted as shown in Section 17.08.030.D Zoning District Land Use Table of this title;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. That Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, be and is hereby amended as more specifically described herein; as follows:
· amend Table 17.12.030A (Street Setbacks for Single-Family and Two-Family Dwellings) by replacing the table with the following table (note: changes to the table are shown in strike-through and italics).

(1) Two-family dwellings 
  with any parking proposed between the street line and the front edge of the 
  residential structure shall provide a minimum street setback of thirty feet.
  (2) Lots having vehicular access to these streets shall develop in a manner 
  which avoids back-up movements into the public street.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect five days from and after its passage upon publication of the caption and a summary of the ordinance in a newspaper of general circulation in Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
