The Metropolitan Council met in adjourned session on this date at 6:00 p.m. in the Metropolitan Courthouse.
The invocation was offered by Councilman Jim Hodge.
The Metropolitan Council gave the pledge of allegiance to the American Flag.

The Minutes of the regular meeting June 3, 2008, were approved.

An ordinance to approve an affiliation agreement by and between Vanderbilt University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to provide student clinical instruction and training with the Davidson County Drug Court. The bill was approved by the Budget and Finance Committee. An ordinance approving the disposition of a certain parcel of property located at 0 Cockrill Bend Boulevard, by the Director of Public Property Administration held by The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Proposal No. 2008M-040U-7). The bill was approved by the Planning Commission, Budget and Finance and Planning, Zoning and Historical Committees. An ordinance adopting the Capital Improvements Budget and Program 2008-2009 through 2013-2014 for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County as the official Capital Improvements Budget and Program of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for Fiscal Year 2008-2009. The bill was approved by the Planning Commission, the Budget and Finance and Planning, Zoning and Historical Committees approved the bill with amendments. Mr. Cole offered Amendment Nos. 1 thru 24 and moved for their adoption, which motion was seconded and adopted by a voice vote of the Council.
