The Metropolitan Council met in adjourned session on this date at 7:00 p.m. in the Metropolitan Courthouse.
The invocation was offered by Councilmember Phil Ponder.
The Metropolitan Council gave the pledge of allegiance to the American Flag.

An ordinance amending Section 3.40.010 of the Metropolitan Code by providing a window of opportunity for employees to reconnect previous service with the Metropolitan Government for pension benefit purposes. An ordinance to amend Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, the Zoning Ordinance of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by changing from IR District to CS District a portion of property at 710 Myatt Drive, approximately 900 feet east of Gallatin Pike (27 acres), (Proposal No. 2001Z-001G-04), all of which is more particularly described herein. The bill was approved by the Planning Commission and Planning, Zoning and Historical Committee.
