RESOLUTION NO. RS2014-1315

A resolution appropriating the amount of $9,336,300.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the purchase of equipment and building repairs for various departments of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $3,132,500.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Department of General Services for equipment.

Section 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $2,129,200.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Information Technology Services for equipment.

Section 3. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $726,200.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Justice Integration Services for equipment.

Section 4. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $50,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Metropolitan Nashville Arts Commission for equipment and repairs.

Section 5. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $845,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Metropolitan Nashville Public Works for equipment.

Section 6. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $350,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Nashville General Hospital for equipment and building repairs.

Section 7. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $25,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Nashville Municipal Auditorium for equipment.

Section 8. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $279,400.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Nashville Public Health Department for equipment.

Section 9. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $1,478,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Nashville Public Library for equipment.

Section 10. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $321,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the State Trial Courts for equipment and building repairs.

Section 11. As required by Ordinance No. 086-1534, information justifying the appropriations is set forth in the "General Fund Reserve Fund (4% Fund) Information Sheets" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 12. Where applicable, the Purchasing Agent shall procure repairs specified in the attachments in accordance with the established purchasing procedures; provided that purchases of computer equipment and software hereunder shall be based upon a recommendation from the appropriate department and the Information Systems Director.

Section 13. The Director of Finance may schedule acquisitions authorized herein to ensure an appropriate balance in the Fund.

Section 14. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
