RESOLUTION NO. RS2010-1369

A resolution appropriating the amount of $6,969,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the purchase of equipment and building repairs for various departments of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $100,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Assessor of Property for equipment. View Information Sheets

Section 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $33,600.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Bordeaux Long-Term Care for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 3. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $2,500,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Finance Department for equipment and repairs. View Information Sheet

Section 4. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $157,200.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the General Hospital for equipment and repairs. View Information Sheet

Section 5. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $3,000,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for General Services Department for equipment and building repairs. View Information Sheet

Section 6. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $60,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the General Sessions Court for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 7. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $25,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Historical Commission for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 8. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $68,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Information Technology Services for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 9. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $9,400.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Knowles Home for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 10. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $400,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Parks and Recreation Department for equipment and repairs. View Information Sheet

Section 11. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $355,800.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Public Works Department for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 12. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $260,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 13. As required by Ordinance No. 086-1534, information justifying the appropriations is set forth in the "General Fund Reserve Fund (4% Fund) Information Sheets" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 14. Where applicable, the Purchasing Agent shall procure repairs specified in the attachments in accordance with the established purchasing procedures; provided that purchases of computer equipment and software hereunder shall be based upon a recommendation from the appropriate department and the Director of Information Systems.

Section 15. The Director of Finance may schedule acquisitions authorized herein to ensure an appropriate balance in the Fund.

Section 16. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
