An ordinance authorizing the acceptance of certain easements for stormwater projects located at 5442 and 5444 Edmondson Pike, Highway 70 South, 501 28th Avenue North, 2900 Felicia Street, 570 Metroplex Drive, 4715 Andrew Jackson Parkway, 1527 Compton Avenue, 1101 Bell Road, Shiaway Drive, 901 19th Avenue South, 3308 John Mallette Drive, and 8th Avenue North & Taylor Street.

WHEREAS, grants of certain easements have been executed by the respective property owners and offered to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County; and,

WHEREAS, the easements are located on the property described in Exhibit 1 hereto; and,

WHEREAS, the easements are further described in the Metropolitan Water and Sewerage Services Department’s plans on file for multiple stormwater projects specified on Exhibit 1 hereto, and the easements are for the purposes of those stormwater projects.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Director of Public Property Administration, is hereby authorized to accept from the respective property owners the easements described in the Metropolitan Water and Sewerage Services Department’s plans on file for certain stormwater projects as specified on Exhibit 1 hereto, for the purposes of those stormwater projects, and located on the property described in Exhibit 1 hereto, which plans and Exhibit are incorporated herein.

Section 2. The easements shall be filed in the Office of the Register of Deeds to evidence their acceptance.

Section 3. Any further amendments to this legislation may be processed by Resolution.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
