An ordinance authorizing the acquisition of easements for use in public projects of the Metropolitan Government located at 2209, 2201 Seven Points Circle, 509, 513, 517 Pauls Trail, 3828 Leona Pass, 2108, 2116, 2141 Christina Court, 305 Rachaels Meadow Court, 109 Bailey View Court and 2201 Kayla Drive.

WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that easements be acquired to permit the construction of or other use for water mains, sanitary sewers, reservoirs, stormwater, pumps and/or appurtenances (the “Project”) within the area designated for the construction of certain grinder pump projects, and the Project is authorized under Capital Improvements Budget No. 96SG00001; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to the documents collectively attached as Exhibit 1, certain easements have been offered to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for use in connection with the Project;

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Planning Commission approved this acquisition on February 8, 2007.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

Section 1. The Metopolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Director of Public Property Administration is hereby authorized to accept the easements shown in Exhibit 1 attached hereto and incorporated herein for use in connection with the Project.

Section 2. The easements shall be filed in the Office of the Register of Deeds.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
