ORDINANCE NO. BL2007-1331

An ordinance authorizing the acceptance of certain easements for stormwater projects located at Tulip Grove Road, 211 Athens Way, 600 47th Avenue North, 1749 Glen Echo Road, 750 Wedgewood Park Avenue, 2624 Gallatin Pike, 910 17th Avenue North # 201, 314 Gallatin Pike, 103, 107, and 101 Charles E Davis Boulevard, 224 Stewarts Ferry Pike, #20 Culvert Street, 3474 Dickerson Pike, 304 4th Avenue South, 315 Old Lebanon Dirt Road, 2911 Elm Hill Pike, 3815 Logistics Way, 3786 Central Pike, and Route 1 Central Pike.

WHEREAS, grants of certain easements have been executed by the respective property owners and offered to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County; and,

WHEREAS, the easements are located on the property described in Exhibit 1 hereto; and,

WHEREAS, the easements are further described in the Metropolitan Water and Sewerage Services Department's plans on file for multiple stormwater projects specified on Exhibit 1 hereto, and the easements are for the purposes of those stormwater projects.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Director of Public Property Administration, is hereby authorized to accept from the respective property owners the easements described in the Metropolitan Water and Sewerage Services Department's plans on file for certain stormwater projects as specified on Exhibit 1 hereto, for the purposes of those stormwater projects, and located on the property described in Exhibit 1 hereto, which plans and Exhibit are incorporated herein.

Section 2. The easements shall be filed in the Office of the Register of Deeds to evidence their acceptance.

Section 3. Any further amendments to this legislation may be processed by Resolution.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.
