RESOLUTION NO. RS2016-477
A resolution accepting a How’s Nashville Grant from the Dorothy Cate and Thomas F. Frist Foundation to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Social Services Commission in support of housing.
WHEREAS, the Dorothy Cate and Thomas F. Frist Foundation has awarded a How’s Nashville Grant in the amount of $10,000.00 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Social Services Commission in support of housing; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the How’s Nashville Grant by and between the Dorothy Cate and Thomas F. Frist Foundation, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00, to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Social Services Commission in support of housing, a copy of which grant is attached hereto, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the Metropolitan Nashville Social Services Commission is hereby authorized to accept this grant for its use and benefit.
Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
