RESOLUTION NO. RS2016-453

A resolution to amend Ordinance No. BL2014-784 to add one additional parcel located at 437 36th Avenue North to the negotiation and acceptance of permanent and temporary easements for construction of the I-40/I-440 South Sewer Relocation Project (Project No. 13-SG-0129 and Proposal No. 2014M-010ES-002).

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2014-784, approved June 11, 2014, authorized the negotiation and acceptance of permanent and temporary easements for the I-40/I-440 South Sewer Relocation Project; and,

WHEREAS, one additional parcel located at 437 36th Avenue North is needed; and,

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2014-784 provides that amendments shall be approved by resolution.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Ordinance No. BL2014-784 is hereby amended to add one additional parcel related to the negotiation and acceptance of permanent and temporary easements for construction of the I-40/I-440 South Sewer Relocation Project as listed below and shown on Exhibit 1, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2. The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment and acquirement authorized by this ordinance.

Section 3. Amendments to this legislation shall be approved by resolution.

Section 4. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
