RESOLUTION NO. RS2016-398

A resolution approving an agreement between Bridgestone Americas, Inc. and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Arts Commission, for the donation of six artworks to be installed and displayed in locations throughout Metro.

WHEREAS, the agreement between Bridgestone Americas, Inc. and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Arts Commission, attached hereto and incorporated herein, donates six artworks to be installed and displayed in locations throughout Metro; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the agreement by and between Bridgestone Americas, Inc. and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Arts Commission, for the donation of six artworks to be installed and displayed in locations throughout Metro, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
