RESOLUTION NO. RS2016-200
A resolution amending Ordinance No. BL2014-783 by authorizing acquisition of two additional parcels for the construction of the Gibson Creek Equalization Facility as part of the Clean Water Nashville Overflow Abatement Program (Proposal No. 2016M-014PR-001).
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2014-783, approved July 15, 2014, authorized the acquisition of property for the construction of the Gibson Creek Equalization Facility; and,
WHEREAS, two additional parcels located at 0 Fernbank and 826 Idlewild Drive are needed for the construction of the Gibson Creek Equalization Facility; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2014-783 provided that amendments shall be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. BL2014-783 is hereby amended by authorizing acquisition two additional parcels for the construction of the Gibson Creek Equalization Facility as part of the Clean Water Nashville Overflow Abatement Program as listed below and shown on Exhibit 1 which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference:

Section 2, The Directors of Water and Sewerage Services and Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the acquisition authorized by the ordinance.
Section 3. That the resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
