RESOLUTION NO. RS2016-179

A resolution to approve the third amendment to the lease agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Greensboro I, L.P., extending the term and amending the rent and the auxiliary parking provisions for the Domestic Violence Program. (Proposal No. 2016M-006PR-001).

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County has a lease agreement with Greensboro I, L.P., to provide office space and auxiliary parking spaces for the Domestic Violence Program of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department; and

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Greensboro I, L.P. have agreed to extend the term and amend the rent and the auxiliary parking provisions for the Domestic Violence Program lease, a copy of which Third Amendment is attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that the third lease amendment be approved; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the Third Amendment entered into between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Greensboro I, L.P., a copy of which Third Amendment is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect upon passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
