RESOLUTION NO. RS2016-108
A resolution approving an agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to facilitate the operation of Federally-facilitated Exchanges (FFEs) between (CMS) and the Metropolitan Board of Health as a Certified Application Counselor Organization.
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Board of Health and The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services wish to enter into an agreement to facilitate the operation of Federally-facilitated Exchanges (FFEs) between (CMS) and the Metropolitan Board of Health as a Certified Application Counselor Organization; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this agreement be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the agreement by and between and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to facilitate the operation of Federally-facilitated Exchanges (FFEs) between (CMS) and the Metropolitan Board of Health as a Certified Application Counselor Organization, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
