RESOLUTION NO. RS2015-1562

A resolution to amend Ordinance No. BL2015-1059 related to Council Bill No. 077-786 for abandoning easement rights.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2015-1059, approved April 22, 2015, authorized the abandonment of certain easement rights; and,

WHEREAS, reference to 50th Avenue in the Ordinance caption, the first recital and Section 1 of the Ordinance, should be deleted and replaced with Monte Street; and,

WHEREAS, reference to Council Bill No. 2015M-05ES-001 in the first recital should be deleted and replaced with Council Bill No. 077-786; and,

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL2015-1059 provides that amendments to the legislation shall be approved by resolution.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Ordinance No. BL2015-1059 is hereby amended by deleting reference to 50th Avenue in the Ordinance caption, first recital and Section 1 and replacing it with Monte Street and deleting reference to Council Bill No. 2015M-05ES-001 in the first recital and replacing it with Council Bill No. 077-786.

Section 2. That the resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
