RESOLUTION NO. RS2015-1507

A resolution approving a memorandum of understanding between the Tennessee Department of Health and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health for long-acting reversible contraception pharmaceuticals for use in the family planning program.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Board of Health and the Tennessee Department of Health wish to enter into a memorandum of understanding for long-acting reversible contraception pharmaceuticals for use in the family planning program; and

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this memorandum of understanding be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the memorandum of understand between the Tennessee Department of Health and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for long-acting reversible contraception pharmaceuticals for use in the family planning program, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
