RESOLUTION NO. RS2014-968

A resolution accepting a donation from Fred’s Inc. to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department in conjunction with the annual “Hero Hat” Campaign.

WHEREAS, Fred’s Inc. wishes to donate $166.68 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department in conjunction with the annual “Hero Hat” Campaign; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the donation of $166.68 by Fred’s Inc. to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department in conjunction with the annual “Hero Hat” Campaign, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department is hereby authorized to accept this donation for its use and benefit.

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
