RESOLUTION NO. RS2014-1263

A resolution approving an agreement between Vanderbilt University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health for the use of the Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) system.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Board of Health and Vanderbilt University wish to enter into a license agreement for the use of the Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) system operated by Vanderbilt; and

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this license agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the license agreement between Vanderbilt University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, for the use of the Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) system, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That the Director of the Metropolitan Public Health Department is hereby authorized to execute such documents necessary as to carry out the effect of this Resolution.

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
