RESOLUTION NO. RS2014-1207

A resolution approving an internship affiliation agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Nashville Career Advancement Center, and the University of Tennessee College of Social Work, to provide field and internship instruction for enrolled social work students.

WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of the University of Tennessee College of Social Work and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Nashville Career Advancement Center, to provide field and internship instruction for enrolled social work students; and,

WHEREAS, the University of Tennessee College of Social Work and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Nashville Career Advancement Center, have entered into an internship affiliation agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein, to provide field and internship experience for enrolled students; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this affiliation agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the internship affiliation agreement between the University of Tennessee College of Social Work and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Nashville Career Advancement Center, to provide field and internship experience for enrolled students, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
