RESOLUTION NO. RS2014-1024

A resolution classifying public roads in Davidson County, Tennessee.

WHEREAS, the public roads of Davidson County are shown on the Official Street and Alley Acceptance and Maintenance Map for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, on file in the Office of the Department of Public Works and the Office of the Metropolitan Clerk; and,

WHEREAS, Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 54-10-103 requires the legislative body of each county to classify the public roads in each county and requires that a list must first be submitted of all public county roads, including a summary of changes from the road listing submitted the previous year; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council most recently classified the public roads in Davidson County by Resolution No. RS2013-643.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That The Official Street and Alley Acceptance and Maintenance Map and the Geographic Information Systems Street and Alley Centerline Layer, as approved by Ordinance No. BL2013-600, under proposal number 2013M-0010T-001, and as supplemented by the public county road list attached hereto, is hereby adopted as the public road classification for Davidson County pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 54-10-103.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
