RESOLUTION NO. RS2014-1017

A resolution accepting a grant to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department to purchase animal oxygen masks.

WHEREAS, a grant of $1,000.00 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department to purchase animal oxygen masks has been made; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the grant of $1,000.00 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department to purchase animal oxygen masks, a copy of which grant is attached hereto, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department is hereby authorized to accept this grant for its use and benefit.

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
