RESOLUTION NO. RS2013-798

A resolution approving a clinical experience agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Tennessee State University to provide clinical experience opportunities to students enrolled in the Master of Public Health Program.

WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of Tennessee State University and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide clinical experience opportunities to students enrolled in the Master of Public Health Program; and,

WHEREAS, Tennessee State University and the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, have entered into a clinical experience agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein, to provide clinical experience opportunities to students enrolled in the Master of Public Health Program; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this clinical experience agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the clinical experience agreement between Tennessee State University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide clinical experience opportunities to students enrolled in the Master of Public Health Program, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
