RESOLUTION NO. RS2013-698

A resolution to approve the second amendment to the lease agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Greensboro I, L.P., amending the rent and the utilities provisions for the Domestic Violence Program lease (Referral No. 2011M-003PR-001).

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County has a lease agreement with Greensboro I, L.P., to provide office space and auxiliary parking spaces for the Domestic Violence Program of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department; and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Greensboro I, L.P. have agreed to amend the rent and the utilities provisions for the Domestic Violence Program lease, a copy of which Second Amendment is attached hereto; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that the second lease amendment be approved; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1: That the Second Amendment entered into between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Greensboro I, L.P., a copy of which Second Amendment is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2: That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
