RESOLUTION NO. RS2013-679

A resolution approving a clinical affiliation agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Vanderbilt University to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for nursing students.

WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of Vanderbilt University and the Metropolitan Government to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for nursing students with the Metropolitan Board of Health; and,

WHEREAS, Vanderbilt University and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, have entered into an affiliation agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein, to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for nursing students; and,

WHEREAS, it is to benefit the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this affiliation agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the affiliation agreement between Vanderbilt University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for nursing students attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
