SUBSTITUTE RESOLUTION NO. RS2013-558

A resolution amending the Capital Improvements Budget and Program 2012-2013 through 2017-2018 (Ordinance No. BL2012-159) to add a Police Department project, a Sports Authority project, and a Water and Sewer project to Section 1 GSD Projects.

Whereas, it is desirable to amend the Capital Improvements Budget and Program 2012-2013 through 2017-2018 to add one New Police Department project; ID Number: 13PD0004; and,

Whereas, it is desirable to amend the Capital Improvements Budget and Program 2012-2013 through 2017-2018 to add one New Sports Authority project; ID Number: 13SP0001; and,

Whereas, it is desirable to amend the Capital Improvements Budget and Program 2012-2013 through 2017-2018 to add one Water and Sewer project; ID Number: 13WS0001; and,

Whereas, the favorable recommendation by the Metropolitan Planning Commission as required by the Metropolitan Charter is attached hereto.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Ordinance No. BL2012-159 (Capital Improvements Budget and Program 2012-2013 through 2017-2018) be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
ID Number 13PD0004 New: Relocation/Buildout of Central Police Precinct; Funding Type: C – Proposed G.O.; Year/Amount: 2012-13/$4,000,000.

ID Number 13SP0001 New: Various Exterior Improvements to Bridgestone Arena; Funding Type: C – Proposed G.O.; Year/Amount: 2012-13/$7,000,000.

ID Number 13WS0001 New: Various Stormwater Projects County-wide; Funding Type: A – Miscellaneous Funds (Stormwater Fees); Year/Amount: 2012-13/$50,000,000.

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
