RESOLUTION NO. RS2012-505

A resolution accepting a donation from the Nashville Downtown Partnership to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Planning Department, to assist in the cost of a tax impact analysis for Nashville.

WHEREAS, the Nashville Downtown Partnership wishes to donate $3,500.00 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Planning Department, to assist in the cost of a tax impact analysis for Nashville; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the donation of $3,500.00 by the Nashville Downtown Partnership to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Planning Department, to assist in the cost of a tax impact analysis for Nashville, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That the Metropolitan Nashville Planning Department is hereby authorized to accept this donation for its use and benefit.

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
