RESOLUTION NO. RS2012-469

A resolution approving a memorandum of understanding between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health (“METRO”), and Vanderbilt University to allow infectious disease residents and clinical fellows to experience training through METRO’s Tuberculosis Elimination Program.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Board of Health and Vanderbilt University wish to enter into a memorandum of understanding to allow infectious disease residents and clinical fellows to experience training through METRO’s Tuberculosis Elimination Program; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this memorandum of understanding be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the memorandum of understanding by and between Vanderbilt University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to allow infectious disease residents and clinical fellows to experience training through METRO’s Tuberculosis Elimination Program, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
