RESOLUTION NO. RS2012-466

A resolution accepting a donation to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Department of Public Works to pay for the Audrey Baker Memorial Bridge sign.

WHEREAS, Charlie Tygard wishes to donate $361.42 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Department of Public Works to pay for the sign identifying the Audrey Baker Memorial Bridge over Richland Creek, as named by Ordinance No. BL2012-265; and

WHEREAS, a copy of the donation letter is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the donation of $361.42 by Charlie Tygard to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to pay for the Audrey Baker Memorial Bridge sign, pursuant to the donation letter attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That the Metropolitan Department of Public Works is authorized to accept the donation for its use and benefit.

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
