RESOLUTION NO. RS2012-411

A resolution appropriating the amount of $1,540,000.00 from the unappropriated fund balance of the Radio Shop Fund to fund certain specified projects from the 2012-2013 to 2017-2018 Capital Improvements Budget.

WHEREAS, Section 6.10 of the Charter of the Metropolitan Government permits the Metropolitan Council to make appropriations in addition to those contained in the current operating budget "from an existing unappropriated surplus in the fund to which it applies"; and,

WHEREAS, an unappropriated surplus of funds is available in the unappropriated fund balance of the Radio Shop Fund of the General Services Department which is sufficient to fund certain specified projects in the 2012-2013 to 2017-2018 Capital Improvements Budget.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE METROPOLITAN COUNTY COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the sum of one million five hundred forty thousand dollars ($1,540,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the unappropriated fund balance of the Radio Shop Fund of the General Services Department to fund the projects listed on the attached Exhibit A.

Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
