RESOLUTION NO. RS2011-88

A resolution approving amendment three to a contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and the Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center, Incorporated, for a mobile clinic to provide early periodic screening diagnosis and treatment exams.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, entered into a contract with the Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center, Incorporated for a mobile clinic to provide early periodic screening diagnosis and treatment exams approved by RS2009-932; and,

WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the contract by replacing the maximum compensation amount due the Metropolitan Government to $79,500.00 with no change in the contract end date, a copy of which amendment three is attached hereto; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment three be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That amendment three to the contract by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and the Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Center, Incorporated, for a mobile clinic to provide early periodic screening diagnosis and treatment exams, a copy of which amendment three is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
