RESOLUTION NO. RS2011-1647

A resolution approving amendment three to a contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Systech International, LLC for services relating to automobile emission testing.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, previously entered into a second contract amendment with Systech International, LLC for services relating to automobile emission testing approved by RS2008-408; and,

WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the contract by extending the end date to June 30, 2015, requiring new value added services, and clarifying the fees paid to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for each paid vehicle inspection, a copy of which is attached hereto; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment three be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That amendment three to the contract by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Systech International, LLC, for services relating to automobile emission testing, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same..

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
