RESOLUTION NO. RS2011-1618

A resolution appropriating the amount of $12,143,100.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the purchase of equipment and building repairs for various departments of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $75,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Assessor of Property Office for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $18,500.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Criminal Court Clerk’s Office for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 3. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $3,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Criminal Justice Planning Office for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 4. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $75,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 5. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $25,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Department of Codes & Building Safety for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 6. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $7,367,800.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Department of General Services for equipment and repairs. View Information Sheet

Section 7. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $750,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Fire Department for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 8. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $1,338,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Information Technology Services for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 9. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $150,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Justice Integration Services for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 10. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $800.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Metropolitan Council Office for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 11. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $5,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Metropolitan Historical Commission for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 12. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $75,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Metropolitan Public Health Department for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 13. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $400,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Metropolitan Sports Authority for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 14. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $10,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Office of the Trustee for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 15. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $250,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Parks and Recreation Department for equipment and repairs. View Information Sheet

Section 16. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $100,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Planning Department for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 17. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $250,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Police Department for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 18. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $1,200,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Public Library for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 19. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $50,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the State Trial Court for equipment. View Information Sheet

Section 20. As required by Ordinance No. 086-1534, information justifying the appropriations is set forth in the "General Fund Reserve Fund (4% Fund) Information Sheets" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 21. Where applicable, the Purchasing Agent shall procure repairs specified in the attachments in accordance with the established purchasing procedures; provided that purchases of computer equipment and software hereunder shall be based upon a recommendation from the appropriate department and the Information Systems Director.

Section 22. The Director of Finance may schedule acquisitions authorized herein to ensure an appropriate balance in the Fund.

Section 23. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
