RESOLUTION NO. RS2011-1561
A resolution approving amendment one to a grant from the Tennessee Stormwater Association to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Parks and Recreation Department, to assist with the cost of implementing green technology at the McCabe Park Community Center.
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Parks and Recreation Department, previously entered into a grant agreement with the Tennessee Stormwater Association, to assist with the cost of implementing green technology at the McCabe Park Community Center approved by RS2009-766; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the grant agreement by extending the end date to April 1, 2011, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that amendment one be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That amendment one to the grant by and between the Tennessee Stormwater Association and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Parks and Recreation Department, to assist with the cost of implementing green technology at the McCabe Park Community Center, a copy of which amendment one is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
