RESOLUTION NO. RS2010-1286

A resolution approving a clinical affiliation agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Belmont University to provide clinical pharmacy experience and training to enrolled students.

WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of Belmont University and the Metropolitan Government to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for pharmacy students with the Metropolitan Board of Health; and,

WHEREAS, Belmont University and the Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, have entered into a clinical affiliation agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein, to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for pharmacy students; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this clinical affiliation agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the clinical affiliation agreement between Belmont University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide clinical pharmacy experience and training to enrolled students attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
