RESOLUTION NO. RS2010-1203
A resolution appropriating $550,000 in Community Development Block Grant Funds for Sidewalks, Custom Neighborhood Signage and Park Improvements in the Bordeaux Hills Neighborhood Strategy Area.
WHEREAS, application for 2006-2007, 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 years of the Community Development Block Grant program were approved by the Metropolitan Council through Ordinance BL 2005-857, BL 2006-1282 and BL 2007-46; and
WHEREAS, the applications for the 2006-2007, 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 years included funds allocated to the Bordeaux Hills Neighborhood Strategy Area; and
WHEREAS, a portion of these funds in the amount of $550,000 has been recommended by the Bordeaux Hills Citizen Advisory Committee to be used for the construction of new sidewalks on portions of Panorama Drive and Hinkle Drive, installation of custom neighborhood signage throughout the neighborhood and improvements to Bordeaux Gardens Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That $550,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds allocated to be used for the construction of new sidewalks on portions of Panorama Drive and Hinkle Drive, installation of custom neighborhood signage throughout the neighborhood and improvements to Bordeaux Gardens Park.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
