RESOLUTION NO. RS2010-1188

A resolution appropriating certain 2010-2011 Housing and Community Development funds.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. BL 2009- 599 specified programs to utilize the 2010-2011 Housing and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG Funds); and

WHEREAS, certain activities are, or soon will be ready to begin expenditures of the allocated funds;

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency is authorized to expend and/or transfer to be expended 2010-2011 CDBG as specified in the above Ordinance for the following purposes and amounts:

Community Services Program
Community Economic Development Program
Homeowner Emergency Rehabilitation
Planning
Neighborhood Improvement Program
Non-profit Planning and Capacity Building
Section 108 Loan
General Administration

Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
