RESOLUTION NO. RS2010-1121
A resolution appropriating the amount of $10,917,600.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the purchase of equipment and building repairs for various departments of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $126,700.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for Bordeaux Long-Term Care for equipment. View Information Sheet
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $400,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Fire Department for equipment. View Information Sheet
Section 3. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $270,400.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the General Hospital for equipment. View Information Sheet
Section 4. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $7,730,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for General Services Department for equipment and building repairs. View Information Sheet
Section 5. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $390,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Information Technology Services Department for equipment. View Information Sheet
Section 6. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $2,900.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Knowles Home for equipment and building repairs. View Information Sheet
Section 7. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $400,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Police Department for equipment and building repairs. (See below)
Section 8. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $1,000,000.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Public Library for equipment and building repairs. View Information Sheet
Section 9. There is hereby appropriated the sum of $597,600.00 from the General Fund Reserve Fund for the Public Works Department for equipment. View Information Sheet
Section 10. As required by Ordinance No. 086-1534, information justifying the appropriations is set forth in the "General Fund Reserve Fund (4% Fund) Information Sheets" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 11. Where applicable, the Purchasing Agent shall procure repairs specified in the attachments in accordance with the established purchasing procedures; provided that purchases of computer equipment and software hereunder shall be based upon a recommendation from the appropriate department and the Director of Information Services.
Section 12. The Director of Finance may schedule acquisitions authorized herein to ensure an appropriate balance in the Fund.
Section 13. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

Madam President:
I move to amend Resolution No. RS2010-1121 by substituting the General Fund Reserve Fund (4% Fund) Information Sheet for the Police Department, as referenced in Section 10, with the attached new Information Sheet, which changes “Motorola Premier CAD Client AVL Audit Trail Update” to “Oracle Database Portioning Software” in the first line item.
