RESOLUTION NO. RS2009-817

A resolution approving Amendment One to the contract for services from Hands on Nashville to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to coordinate the recruitment and training of community volunteers.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, previously entered into a contract for services with Hands on Nashville to coordinate the recruitment and training of community volunteers; and,

WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the contract for services by amending Attachment One, Sections d. and e. in their entirety, a copy of which Amendment One is attached hereto; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that Amendment One to Attachment One be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Amendment One to the contract for services by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Hands on Nashville to coordinate the recruitment and training of community volunteers, a copy of which Amendment One is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
