RESOLUTION NO. RS2009-638

A resolution accepting a donation from Fred’s Inc. “Hero Hats” Program to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department.

WHEREAS, Fred’s Inc. “Hero Hats” Program wishes to donate $141.00 to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the donation of $141.00 by Fred’s Inc. “Hero Hats” Program to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department is hereby approved.

Section 2. That the Metropolitan Nashville Fire Department is authorized to accept the donation for its use and benefit.

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
