RESOLUTION NO. RS2008-477
A resolution approving a grant agreement by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Oasis Center (Bailey), to provide community prevention intervention services for children.
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Oasis Center (Bailey) wish to enter into a grant agreement for provision of services related to the Community Prevention Initiative for Children; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this grant agreement be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUTY:
Section 1. That the Grant Agreement by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Oasis Center (Bailey) in an amount not to exceed $17,500.00, to provide community prevention intervention services for children, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
