RESOLUTION NO. RS2008-468

A resolution amending the pay plan for the general employees of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County approved under Resolution No. RS2005-872, by adding the positions of Internal Auditor 1, Internal Auditor 2, Senior Internal Auditor, Principal Internal Auditor, and Internal Audit Manager.

Whereas, a pay plan was adopted for the general employees of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by passage of Resolution No. RS2005-872; and

Whereas, the Metropolitan County Council presently has pending before it Ordinance No. BL2008-286, creating the positions of Internal Auditor 1, Internal Auditor 2, Senior Internal Auditor, Principal Internal Auditor, and Internal Audit Manager; and

Whereas, upon passage of Ordinance No. BL2008-286, it will be necessary to amend the pay plan created by Resolution No. RS2005-872 to provide for these positions.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the pay plan for the general employees of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, established by Resolution No. RS2005-872, is amended by adding the following positions:

Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
