RESOLUTION NO. RS2008-440

A resolution approving a data use and services agreement by and between the University of Pittsburgh – Of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to utilize the National Retail Data Monitor data and services to protect the public health.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Board of Health and the University of Pittsburgh – Of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education wish to enter into a data use and services agreement; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this agreement be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the data use and services agreement between the University of Pittsburgh – Of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to utilize the National Retail Data Monitor data and services to protect the public health, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
