RESOLUTION NO. RS2008-436
A resolution approving a clinical affiliation agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Belmont University to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for graduate nursing students.
WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of Belmont University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for graduate nursing students with the Metropolitan Board of Health; and,
WHEREAS, Belmont University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, have entered into an affiliation agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein, to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for graduate nursing students; and,
WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this affiliation agreement be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the affiliation agreement between Belmont University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to participate in a program of clinical instruction and training for graduate nursing students, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
