RESOLUTION NO. RS2008-408

A resolution approving Amendment II to a contract between The Metropolitan Government and Systech International, LLC for services relating to automobile emission testing.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, previously entered into a contract agreement with Systech International, LLC for services relating to automobile emission testing; and,

WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the contract by inserting a new Paragraph 32 – Liquidated Damages and inserting a new paragraph 33 – ISO Certification; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidosn County that Amendment II be accepted.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Amendment II to the contract by and between The Metropolitan Government and Systech International, LLC, for services relating to automobile emission testing, a copy of which Amendment II is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
