RESOLUTION NO. RS2008-393

A resolution approving an extension of the contract by and between Rudra Prakash, M.D. and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, to provide psychiatric medical services to clients of the Downtown Clinic.

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, previously entered into a contract with Rudra Prakash, M.D. to provide psychiatric medical services to clients of the Downtown Clinic; and,

WHEREAS, the parties wish to extend the contract for an additional partial term beginning on or about July 1, 2008 and ending on or about October 31, 2008; and,WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this extension be accepted.NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:Section 1. That the contract extension by and between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Board of Health, and Rudra Prakash, M.D., to provide psychiatric medical services to clients of the Downtown Clinic, a copy of which extension is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.Sponsored by: Jerry Maynard, Erik Cole
