RESOLUTION NO. RS2008-384

A resolution appropriating $160,000 in Community Development Block Grant Funds for custom Signage in the Cameron Neighborhood Strategy Area.

WHEREAS, the applications for the 2000-2001, 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 years included funds allocated to the Cameron Neighborhood Strategy Area; and

WHEREAS, a portion of these funds in the amount of $160,000, has been recommended by the Cameron Citizen Advisory Committee to be used for the installation of custom street identification signs and neighborhood entryway signs.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That $160,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds be used for the installation of custom street identification signs and neighborhood entryway signs in the Cameron Neighborhood Strategy Area.

Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
