RESOLUTION NO. RS2008-366
A resolution approving an amendment to a contract between Vanderbilt University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County for psychiatry health training for Vanderbilt medical residents at the Downtown Clinic for the homeless.WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County previously entered into a contract with Vanderbilt University for psychiatry health training for Vanderbilt medical residents at the Downtown Clinic for the homeless; and,
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the contract by extending the term of the contract from July 1, 2008 to October 31, 2008; and amend Section II (Reimbursement) of the contract to reduce the amount to be reimbursed to $2,160.00, a copy of which Amendment 2 is attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, it is to benefit the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to enter into this agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Amendment 2 to the contract between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Vanderbilt University, for psychiatry health training for Vanderbilt medical residents attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
